- For those who have lost loved ones this week, let us pray. Hear our prayer.
- For the newly engaged, and those who have become parents, let us pray. Hear our prayer.
- For those who are discouraged, disgusted, or disheartened by the week's news, let us pray. Hear our prayer.
- For the good earth, that it may stay healthy and continue to provide its gracious bounty, let us pray. Hear our prayer.
- For the polar bears, the seals, the caribou and all those affected by the loss of polar ice, let us pray. Hear our prayer.
- That this world may know peace, let us pray. Hear our prayer.
- For those who are in danger of losing their homes and for those who are homeless, let us pray. Hear our prayer.
- For those stung by the rise in food prices, and for those whose communities are chronically short of food, let us pray. Hear our prayer.
- For the victims of war, torture and all manner of violence, let us pray. Hear our prayer.
God of day and night, help us to use our time on earth wisely: to love our family and friends, to contribute to our communities, to participate in the work of making world whole once more. Amen.
